i last visited dave and julie 2 weeks ago and was due to go again last tuesday . sadly my visit had to be postponed as dave was due to go to hospital for treatment . when i last saw him dave was just the same , chatting away , still with a sense of humour and able to enjoy the odd glass of red wine . what a lovely amiable man . julie , my thoughts are with you . bye , bye , max . on on .

Sorry to hear the passing away of a jolly good hasher. I remember (!) Max Boyce's last visit to Belgium during BNH in Oostduinkerke a few years back.

It is always sad to hear the passing of anyone, more so someone you have met, laughed with and shared a drink. He will be fondly remembered as someone who brought a smile to hash. He will, as every passing hasher is, will be sadly missed. On On... Beers in heaven...

I didn't know Max, but it's always a sad, sad moment when a fellow hasher passes to the great trail in the sky. My thoughts are with his family and all who knew him..

On home
